Fabulous
grape variety known since the 18th century, giving rise to the great white wines
of the Bordeaux region, Sauvignon is characterized by original flavours:citrus, exotic fruits, blackcurrant buds, boxwood or white flowers.
It produces dry white wines that are deep, strong and
complex.
This Sauvignon, vinified using modern methods, develops a very aromatic
nose, floral, with strong flavours. The citrus notes bring freshness, and its fragrance
is complemented by slightly tangy touches.
It is drunk cool with fresh
vegetables, seafood, fish, salads or
as an aperitif. Its liveliness makes it possible to confront the strength and brininess
of shellfish, which enhances them. It may be associated with fish terrines, cold meats, pasta with
mushrooms, or paupiettes of beef or rabbit.
Stored in good conditions, it can be kept two to five years. It is
served between 10 and 12 degrees C.
